cardoO Watch Battery Draining Fast

Battery life depends on device age and usage. Follow these steps if your watch seems to drain faster than expected.

Make it last longer

  • Keep your phone nearby: Bluetooth is more efficient than standalone use.
  • Prefer Wi-Fi when away from the phone instead of cellular (if supported).
  • Strong signal or Airplane Mode: in poor-coverage areas, turn Airplane Mode on to save power.
  • Enable Low Power Mode: Control Center › Battery percent › Low Power Mode. It turns off automatically above 80% charge.
  • Turn off Always-On Display (if supported): Settings › Display & Brightness › Always On → off.
  • Temporarily disable battery optimizations: Settings › Battery › Battery Health, turn off Optimized Charging / Charge Limit (Off until tomorrow).
  • Long workouts: to save power on outdoor walk/run/hike, enable Reduce GPS & HR sampling: Settings › Workout.
  • Audio: use Bluetooth earbuds instead of the built-in speaker.

After an update

Some post-update tasks run in the background. If battery life drops after a software update, give it 2–3 days and check again.

Check Battery Health

  • On the watch: Settings › Battery › Battery Health.
  • Review Maximum Capacity.
  • If you see Battery needs service or capacity is notably low, consider service.

Get service

If the issue persists:

  • Book an appointment at a cardoO Service Center to test or replace the battery with a genuine part.
  • Start a service request
