Pair with Your Device
Connect cardoO Buds
iPhone / iPad
- Open the case and bring it close to your device.
- Go to Settings › Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth On.
- Select cardoO Buds and tap Connect.
After pairing: install the cardoO app for firmware updates, touch and EQ controls, and managing multiple connections.
Android
- Open the case and press the Pair button (if available) until the LED blinks.
- Open Settings › Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth.
- Under Available devices, select cardoO Buds and tap Pair / Connect.
For full functionality (EQ, gestures, updates, multipoint management), use the cardoO app.
Multi-connection (Manual Switching)
Your buds can be paired with multiple devices (like a phone and a laptop), but only one active connection at a time.
When you connect to a new device, the previous one disconnects automatically. This is manual fast switching, not simultaneous multipoint.
Typical flow (Phone → Laptop → Phone)
- Buds are connected to the phone.
- On the laptop: open Bluetooth, select cardoO Buds → Connect — the phone disconnects automatically.
- To return to the phone: in Bluetooth settings, select cardoO Buds → Connect — the laptop disconnects automatically.
iPhone / iPad (iOS & iPadOS)
- Connect: Settings › Bluetooth → cardoO Buds → Connect.
- Temporary disconnect: tap Disconnect (avoid Forget unless you need to re-pair).
- Take over from another device: open Settings › Bluetooth, tap Connect for cardoO Buds — the other device drops automatically.
Android
- Connect: Settings › Bluetooth → Available devices → cardoO Buds → Pair / Connect.
- Temporary disconnect: use Disconnect only (don’t use Forget unless re-pairing).
- Take over: open Bluetooth and tap Connect for cardoO Buds — the other device disconnects automatically.
Operating Rules
- One active device at a time.
- Calls take priority when switching.
- Use Disconnect / Connect instead of Forget for quick switching.
- If a device “holds” the link, Disconnect there first, then Connect from the target.
- If switching is slow: pause on device #1, play on device #2.
Quick Fixes
- Toggle Bluetooth Off/On on the device you’re connecting from.
- Open and close the charging case to re-advertise pairing mode.
- Quick reset: with the buds in the case, hold Pair for 10–15 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly, then reconnect.
- Keep your firmware up to date using the cardoO app for improved stability and faster switching.
